About Us!

JFC has been providing professional services to the residents of Wyoming and the surrounding states since 1964. We are a multi-disciplinary firm consisting of an Engineering Department, a full-service Surveying Department, and an accredited Materials Testing Lab. JFC currently employs 22 hard working individuals.

JFC demonstrates a commitment to their profession and the areas they live by supporting and serving on several boards and committees, as a result of their dedication to both. Some examples of organizations we are affiliated with are the Professional Land Surveyors of Wyoming, National Society of Professional Engineers, Sweetwater County-Rock Springs-Green River Joint Powers Water Board, Wyoming Engineering Society, Boys & Girls Club of Sweetwater County, City of Rock Springs - Planning & Zoning, and the list goes on. JFC's Material Testing Lab is an American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Accredited Testing and Inspection Agency. Our team is made up from the staff engineers and technicians in the engineering group. For our lab to be an accredited facility, the below criteria are followed: 

  • External audits are done to ensure supervisor and technicians are certified at the appropriate levels, that the processes are followed for specific tests, and the reporting is completed.

  • Equipment is calibrated at the required intervals.

  • Perform tests from blind audits that are sent from AASHTO to ensure QA/QC of our testing lab.

  • Perform internal audits to ensure processes are followed and required paperwork is completed.

  • Continual education and testing of supervisor and technicians to maintain certifications.
