Public Projects

Public projects have always been at the core of JFC’s Professional Services.  JFC participates in all aspects of public projects; from geotechnical investigations, site design, roadway design, water and sewer infrastructure design, and abandoned mine land mitigation to materials testing, construction management, drainage, and grading.

Since 1964, JFC has been partners with local city and county government to assist with the design and infrastructure needs of our communities. To help demonstrate our commitment in this effort, there are members of our staff, along with spouses and families, that serve on several boards and committees as a result of their dedication to our communities. The knowledge of local geology, parcels, ownership history, infrastructure, drainage, and FEMA constraints are important to share with the public entities to help with planning issues in our area.
