Route Surveying
JFC has extensive route survey experience which consists of roads, pipelines, power lines, and utilities. Many of these types of surveys are referred to as corridor or Rights-of-Way surveys. We provide the entire spectrum of surveys – preliminary route, Rights-of-Way, design, ownership delineation, construction surveying, and final Rights-of-Way monumentation.
Pipeline
JFC has surveyed pipelines ranging from those of a few hundred feet to those of many hundreds of miles in length. Our experience encompasses both preliminary and as-built alignments, which includes staking and surveying the proposed pipeline, and surveying the actual location of the pipeline, both horizontally and vertically, as placed in the trench. This procedure is required for any Department of Transportation (DOT) regulated pipeline project.
Powerline
JFC has surveyed power lines for both high-voltage transmission and distribution. Our high voltage projects include major transmission power of 230 kV and 345 kV lines. Our distribution power projects include our contract with the local power company for plans within southwest Wyoming.
Roads
JFC's projects for roads include those for private access, mineral development, local and state governments, including the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT).
Utilities
JFC's projects for utilities include those for staking for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer includes offset staking for manholes, inlets, hydrants, and invert stakes at specified intervals.
